Future of the Mossy Boys Site - Have Your Say

This page has been setup to discuss the future of the Mossy Boys site. This site was setup before http://facebook.com was created and before people starting using http://bebo.com and http://myspace.com. The idea was to first make a site to tribute Moss Vale, and the lads it created. The future plan was to allow peope to create and manage a user profiles and allow members to upload pictures. However as time as pasted http://facebook.com was created which has allowed mossy peoples (and the world) to create a profile and upload/share photos. However the key problem with facebook is:

• It uses your real name.
• We can't make particular things private (e.g. photos, conversations).
• Facebook and the power that be can access your private conversations, photos, etc.

Because of this, some of us have a bebo and/or myspace account under a nickname, so we can show the another side of ourselfs, which our work colleges don't see.

So what should we do with this site - make your comment(s) below?

1. Leave it as is. Votes: 0
2. Remove it and rely on facebook, bebo or myspace - Maybe make a facebook group "Mossy Boys". Votes: 0
3. Redesign the site and allow people to (Votes: 0):
   • Create and edit user profiles.
   • Create and edit groups. e.g. 90'z Teen Mossy Boys, 00'z Teen Mossy Boys, MVC, or what ever
   • Add members to groups.
   • Create photo albums and upload photos.
4. Same as (3), but make it a Southern Highlands site. So Bowral, Mittagong, Bargo, etc boys can create groups and they all can bitch at each other (if they wish) and post party information. Votes: 0
5. Do something else? Votes: 0
